Dr. Mona Bagga is a Board certified, Fellowship trained Cataract and Glaucoma Specialist, with training and experience developed at nationally renowned ophthalmic institutions, including Bascom Palmer, Northwestern and The Shiley Eye Institute (UC San Diego). She recently joined the prestigious Assil Eye Institute in Los Angeles, to head up their Glaucoma services, beginning March 2015. Before that, she served as Director of the Glaucoma Service and Vice President at Horizon Eye Specialists and LASIK center in Scottsdale AZ. As a highly experienced Cataract and Glaucoma surgeon, she has extensive experience in medical, laser and surgical management of glaucoma and cataract. In addition to thousands of conventional glaucoma surgical procedures, such as trabeculectomy and glaucoma drainage implants, Dr Bagga has performed hundreds of minimally invasive glaucoma procedures including iStent, Trabectome and Canaloplasty. She was the first surgeon in Arizona to perform the iStent procedure for Glaucoma.

Dr. Christian attended medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine (ranked the #1 primary-care medical school in the country for the past sixteen consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report). After an internship year, he then completed a three-year residency in ophthalmology at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Christian received intensive training in all aspects of eye surgery and in the management of eye diseases. Dr. Kagan comes from two generations of physicians. His grandfather was a professor of medicine and his mother is a practicing psychiatrist in Los Angeles. Even though Dr. Kagan always knew he wanted to pursue medicine and surgery as a career, he was torn between professional athletics vs. medicine. After much consideration Dr. Kagan chose to enroll into one of the top pre medical programs in the country. After graduating with high honors from Washington University in St. Louis, he was accepted and graduated from The Ohio State University school of Medicine. Then he completed a one-year internship in general medicine at UCLA. After completing his internship Dr. Kagan returned to Ohio State to complete a three-year ophthalmology residency. After completing his residency Dr. Kagan took extra subspecialty training in corneal and refractive surgery as well as ophthalmic plastic and aesthetic surgery.
Dr. Kagan is one of just a few surgeons in the entire USA who is board certified ophthalmologist and a fellowship trained corneal and refractive surgeon, a fellowship trained oculoplatic and reconstructive surgeon as well as a facial plastic and aesthetic surgeon
